Two new faces at Holyrood among the group of SNP MSPs who gathered earlier this afternoon. Marco Biagi and Gordon MacDonald will be representing Edinburgh Central and Edinburgh Pentlands. They took their places proudly at the photocall alongside the 67 others who will form the government later this week. This is the first time in the history of the Scottish Parliament that one party has a majority.

Marco Biagi

We first of all asked Marco Biagi who won his Edinburgh Central seat with a 237 vote majority to ask how he was coping with his newfound celebrity status, and then we caught up with Gordon MacDonald who defeated former Conservative leader David McLetchie to take the Edinburgh Pentlands seat with a 1758 vote majority to ask him how he was feeling today.
