Edinburgh Airport may yet be the one that BAA decide to sell off, but whichever one is chosen, an announcement is imminent, according to Bloomberg Business Week. Pandas ahoy at the zoo as the Chief Executive of RZSS  tells us in his blog that they held a hard hat event for the tourism industry at the end of last week to show off the new panda enclosure.

On the 21st of October there is to be a day of music in Viewforth. Joy of Sound tell us:-

Joy of Sound Collaborative Inclusive Workshops Day at Barclay Viewforth Centre Friday October 21rd 2011 9.30am-9pm

(Free to attend, lunch and light refreshments provided)

There are 14 different workshops or presentations alongside various exhibitions of bespoke instruments and artworks throughout the day, culminating in an all group live improvisation in the evening.

It is about celebrating social inclusion through participation and expression in music and the arts – working with disabled people and those with varying learning access requirements.

We would really love to see you there, and would appreciate if you could send this information on to anyone else you think would be interested in coming or put up a poster where you work or live. If you would like to attend please RSVP to will@williamlongden.comor 07906916524 so we have a rough idea of numbers for lunch.

Finally, this is an entirely Volunteer based event so far coordinated by a very small group of people. We are looking for other volunteer helpers in the kitchen and for other things on the day. If you might be able to assist please contact Paul Crawford on whereisbongo@hotmail.com or 07898 692 000

We look forward to a day of  shared playful inclusive musings
