Why do we have a photo of Jenson Button today? Well The Reporter was at the Bavaria City Racing in Dublin over the weekend. This was not really racing, more showcasing cars and motorbikes, but they were going round the city centre streets at quite a speed! The noise was tremendous, but what was significant was the fact that the council had embraced the idea, shutting off the city centre for the event which must have generated a lot of money for the Edinburgh economy. Well Edinburgh Council what do you think? We are going to meet Transport Convenor Lesley Hinds today and will ask her ourselves!
