Competition – Win Hue and Cry tickets here!

Find out how to win a pair of tickets to the concert in the Queen’s Hall on 21 October at the bottom of the article. We have three pairs of tickets to give away!

Hue and Cry, one of the country’s best loved bands, will be back on the road in October as part of the Hot Wire in Scotland tour.  Pat and Greg will be taking to the stage with their full-on eight piece band to perform several spectacular shows.

Especially for Hue and Cry fans, tickets to the shows and access to some incredible extras will be rolled into one easy-to-buy PLATINUM PASS PACKAGE package that provides additional access to a VIP Reception, the band’s sound-check as well as a meet and greet with Pat and Greg Kane, an exclusive intimate piano and vocal acoustic set from the brothers together with complimentary pre-show hospitality and souvenir brochure.

Hue and Cry’s new album Hot Wire – the first new album from brothers Pat and Greg Kane since 2008’s Open Soul – is out now. Hot Wire itself combines a love of Steely Dan and the solo work of Becker and Fagan with a sprawling template that includes songs reminiscent of Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Stone and early New Orleans’ inspired funk.

The band will be performing their much loved back catalogue as well as a selection of songs from the new record. Speaking of the Hot Wire in Scotland tour Pat and Greg discussed their love of playing to home crowds.

‘‘We are delighted to be bringing the ‘Hot Wire’ tour to Scotland in October, we have been all over Europe this year but I have to say home is where the heart is. It will be great to be taking the Hot Wire tour to our Scottish fans for the grand finale” says Pat.

Brother Greg adds, “We really enjoy the full-on band gigs they give us the opportunity to play the songs in all their glory, playing them live just gives the tracks a new lease of life on the stage. We are looking forward to playing the new material from Hot Wire and of course a few fan favorites”.
