REMAINS FOUND ON GOLF COURSE
Police have confirmed that remains have been found at Musselburgh’s Links Golf Course.
Officers arrived at the scene at midday on Tuesday and cordoned off the location.
A Lothian and Borders Police spokesperson added:- “Enquiries are ongoing regarding the discovery of ‘potential’ human remains at the Old Golf Course in Musselburgh. Those remains have been sent off for further forensic analysis.”
Uniformed officers were detailed overnightto protect the location situated at the world’s oldest links golf course.
