As we reported earlier today the cycling group Pedal on Parliament gathered today to launch their second event, hoping to emulate the success of last year’s protest rally when over 3,000 cyclists took to the streets.

The Reporter was there to capture the news on video and in stills too! It was a very cold day for all who turned up, especially the children on the back of some specially adapted bikes. But according to one father this is their normal daily mode of transport to nursery school so they are well used to it. If you would like to have safer streets in Scotland for cyclists then put the date in your diary now – 18 May 2013.
