Lorraine Hamill misper

Police Scotland is appealing for information to help trace a 47 year old woman who has gone missing from her home in Cowie.

Lorraine Auld, who also goes by the name Lorraine Hamill, was last seen on Monday morning at her home in Flint Crescent, Cowie.

Since then she has not been seen or heard from and concern is growing for her well-being. It is not thought she has taken any property with her.

Lorraine is described as white, 5ft 4in, short fair hair which is spikey at the front, thin build, blue eyes, red birthmark on left collarbone and a shamrock tattoo on her back. She is possibly wearing a green waterproof jacket.

Police have reason to believe she may have headed to Edinburgh or the Lothians, and she also has family in Inverness.

Inspector Iain Mulgrew from Police Scotland said: “We are very concerned for Lorraine, who we would describe as being vulnerable.

“She hasn’t been seen since Monday morning and we would ask that people in the Stirling area or further afield keep a look out for anyone matching her description.

“Anyone who believes they have seen Lorraine, or who has information that can assist our investigation is asked to contact police immediately on 101.”
