A 43-year-old man has been charged following an incident on Princes Street on Friday 4th July where Armed Response police officers were required to deploy Taser.
Five police cars blocked off the street and an officer was injured during the incident.
The man is scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
