Edinburgh Trams Murrayfield

Four men were arrested at Celtic’s Champions League qualifier at Murrayfield last night.

Celtic were playing at the home of Scottish Rugby as Parkhead is still being used by the Commonwealth Games.

Three men were arrested before kick-off, one for breach of the peace, one for attempting to enter the stadium with alcohol and one for a warrant offence.

During the match, another man was arrested for breach of the peace.

Police Scotland said there were no incidents after the game.

Celtic lost 2-0 to Legia Warsaw, in the second leg against the Polish side (6-1 on aggregate).

The Hoops will go into Friday’s Europa Cup draw.
