Margaret Atack

Police are appealing for information to help trace a woman reported missing earlier today.

Margaret Atack was last seen at The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at 11:40am where she was visiting.

Since then, the 70-year-old from Penicuik has not been in contact with friends or family and officers are carrying out various lines of enquiry to locate her.

Margaret is described as white, 5ft 4inches tall of medium build with short blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a cream/beige jacket with fur lining, black trousers and shoes and an orange/red jumper.

Chief Inspector Chris Scobbie: “We are very concerned about Margaret’s welfare as she is particularly vulnerable and urge anyone who may have seen her to contact us immediately.”

Those with information are asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
