From next Sunday, Lothian Buses will be making changes to most bus services.

These changes will result in improvements to timetables, especially in the evenings and at weekends.

You can find all the information you need by visiting the Lothian Buses website or pop into one of the Travelshops and speak to a member of staff.

Edinburgh Trams website reports that they need some new Non-executive directors on Transport for Edinburgh, Lothian Buses and Edinburgh Trams:

“A selection process is now underway for Non-Executive Director positions on the Transport for Edinburgh, Lothian Buses and Edinburgh Trams boards. The transport group is also recruiting a Non-Executive Chair for Lothian Buses and a Non-Executive Chair for Edinburgh Trams.

Chair of Transport for Edinburgh, Lesley Hinds said:

A successful transport network is an integral part of the economy of any major city.  Edinburgh has much to shout about, with a highly rated publicly owned bus company, a growing international airport, quality rail links and, of course, a new tram system with genuine potential for expansion.

Transport for Edinburgh’s vision is to provide a seamless a public transport offer, combining Lothian Buses and Edinburgh Trams, to drive the future success of the city. We’re looking for people to join us on our boards to help us achieve that vision.

Tony Depledge was appointed Interim Chair in November 2014 and was tasked with developing a solution to executive management issues. He has since implemented transitional management arrangements.
