The City of Edinburgh Council is giving away free bags of compost made from your recycled garden waste to say thanks for recycling.
The first giveaway event is in the South neighbourhood, as part of the Inch Nursery Plant Sale. There will also be a wide range of plants, vegetables and herbs on sale too:
This will take place on Saturday 16th May from 9am until stocks run out at Inch Nursery, Inch Park, Old Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh, EH16 5UF (enter off Old Dalkeith Road into Inch Park then follow signs from there.)
Council staff will be on hand to provide information about all our recycling services, and will have some food waste kitchen caddies and liners to give to those who need them.
