Hearts have been issued with a Notice of Complaint from the SFA Compliance Officer regarding an allegation that Head Coach Robbie Neilson used ‘offensive, insulting and abusive language’ during last Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Rangers at Tynecastle.

The alleged incident occurred shortly after Hearts were denied what seemed to be a clear cut penalty when Osman Sow was brought down by Rangers goalkeeper Cammy Bell – only for referee Calum Murray to wave play on. Rangers then immediately scored their second goal.

Referee Murray then sent Neilson to the stand.

Hearts announced on their official website that they have acknowledged receipt of the Notice of Complaint. They have until 14 May to respond with a SFA hearing scheduled for 11 June.
