Speaking to Hibs TV, Allan said: “I’m happy to be here and I enjoy being here.

“We’ve got great coaching staff and a good bunch of boys, so nothing has changed.

“I’m really looking forward to pre-season. I’ve actually missed the boys, so I’m looking forward to getting back and having a bit of banter.

“After last year, we want to kick on and have a good season and its massively important that we hit the ground running.”

The squad underwent tests at the Training Centre before undergoing advanced scientific fitness tests at Queen Margaret University to gauge exactly where every player is in terms of their overall conditioning
