Hibs will play Heart of Midlothian at Tynecastle in the William Hill Scottish Cup Fifth Round.

The draw was made at Hampden Park earlier tonight by former Rangers star Brian Laudrup and Hibs’ fan and World Darts Champion Gary Anderson.

The Edinburgh sides were last out of the hat.

Ties will be played the weekend of 6 February, with ticket information to follow in due course.

Scotland face England on Saturday 6th February at Murrayfield so the game which will almost certainly be live on TV will probably be played on the Sunday.

Hibs cruised through to the fifth round with a comfortable 2-0 win over Raith Rovers on Saturday then the following day Hearts beat Aberdeen 1-0 at Tynecastle.

The last time the pair met in the competition Hibs won 1-0 at Easter Road thanks to a David Wotherspoon goal however Hearts won the previous four including a final and semi-final at Hampden.

Hibs’ fans will be hoping for a repeat of the result the last time they met in the cup at Tynecastle however in 1971. Watch the goals here.
