Hibs’ defender Jordon Forster (pictured) has completed a loan move to Plymouth Argyle until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.

The 22-year-old who  made his debut in a 2-1 win over Hearts in 2013, has played 56 times for Hibs, scoring 5 goals and featured in the Scottish Cup Final against Celtic.

He also had spells on loan at both Berwick Rangers and East Fife

He was a regular under Terry Butcher, often playing at right back however after suffering a hamstring injury  against Rangers on the opening game of the season in the Petrofac Cup, he has not started since.

Hibs have sufficient cover in central defence with Paul Hanlon, Liam Fontaine, Darren McGregor and now Niklas Gunnarsson able to lay in that position.

Plymouth currently sit top of League Two, and are managed by Derek Adams who had a spell as Hibs’ Assistant Manager under Colin Calderwood.

Forster will wear the number 28 jersey at Home Park.
