Colin Keir MSP has warmly welcomed news of the commencement of works to create a new gym hall and classrooms at East Craigs Primary School. Mr Keir explained he has called for the expansion of the school for a number of years.
Speaking after the announcement of the start of preparatory works Mr Keir said:  “This is brilliant news and not before time. I’ve been pushing for a new gym hall for the school since I was councillor for the area.
“East Craigs Primary is a popular local school with a rising school roll and I believe that the P1 registrations for August 2016 now make the extension to the school an absolute priority. I warmly welcome this news and think it’s great that the facilities at the school will be improved to accommodate this growth.”
