Anyone who has ever been interviewed by The Edinburgh Reporter will know that she is a mobile journalist. Yes, that means that everyone from the Deputy First Minister speaking about reform of Air Passenger Duty to a political party leader launching his campaign… (Patrick Harvie shown below!) are all interviewed using a mobile phone. We have a series of interviews here with as many Edinburgh candidates in the 2016 Scottish Parliamentary Election as we have managed to speak to.
Today is the start of the world’s largest mobile journalism conference in Dublin and Phyllis will be speaking at RTÉ Mojocon towards the end of the day to explain how mobile journalism means that The Edinburgh Reporter can and does cover news quickly and cheaply without the need for expensive gear.
