Hibs’ defender Liam Fontaine insists that the team have to concentrate on taking all three points against Queen of the South tomorrow and worry about what is happening at the Falkirk Stadium later.

Hibs go into the last game of the campaign level on points with the Bairns but with an inferior goal difference.

Should both team win, Hibs will have to beat Falkirk’s score by at least three goals and even that may not be enough, depending on how many goals are scored by both teams.

Whatever happens, both teams have secured a play off spot but the team that finishes third will face Raith Rovers next Wednesday night at Starks Park.

Fontaine, who has just returned from injury is looking forward to the challenge.

He told Hibs TV: “”I’m delighted to be back involved and hopefully my injury is behind me now and I am ready for the final push.I picked up a thigh strain in training so I had to take the time to deal with it. You just have to do your rehab and give it time to heal.

“Sunday will be a good day for us. we have to get the three points and worry about other results after. If we get the nod that we have to push for more goals we might go for it but it depends.

“The win is the most important thing because if Falkirk do drop points then the goal difference won’t come into it.

“If we can start like we did against Dumbarton it will stand us in good stead.

“It’s a massive game.  I think the fans will be there and buzzing on Sunday and giving us that extra push that we need.

“It’s been a big ask this season so far, with all the games that we’ve had to play, and we’re going to have more games to play come May time, so we really need a push all the way to the end of the season.
