A 23-year-old woman pedestrian was taken to hospital with minor injuries after being struck by a First Bus at the top of the Mound, near the Royal Mile, at around 9.15am this morning.
The road was closed for just over 90 minutes.
A police spokeswoman said: “The woman was taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
“Southbound traffic was diverted at the Mound via Market Street until 10.50am when it was reopened.”
