logoThe rail strike on Tuesday of this week only affected those trains which have guards, and Scotrail say that means about 70% of their services across the country.

It is the guards not the drivers who oppose Driver Only operation, that is trains which run without guards to operate doors.

The next strikes have been called for today, 23 June, and the weekend of 25/26 June.

A statement issued by Scotrail said: “We are committed to finding a solution to this dispute. In the meantime, please keep on checking for all the latest information about the services we are running and how we are keeping you moving during the strike.”
