Earlier today the Lord Provost, the Rt Hon Donald Wilson, along with the Transport and Environment Convener, Councillor Lesley Hinds presented this year’s Floral Clock in Princes Street Gardens to  Secretary and Treasurer of Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS), Neil Baxter.

This year’s Clock commemorates the RIAS centenary.

Neil Baxter said: “This is an enormous honour and we are really, really thrilled.”

The Lord Provost said: “It’s a real institution and every year it goes from strength to strength. People really look forward to it. It’s an amazing floral feat to have all those plants and design them in such a way that they draw the eye.”
