As part of World Suicide Prevention week, GameChanger will host the Choose Life Challenge Cup for the second successive year.

Played at Hibernian FC Training Centre in East Lothian, the 5 aside football competition will run on Saturday 10th September with the aim of raising awareness of mental health issues. Sport and exercise can make a positive difference to people’s mental wellbeing and is an important area of focus for GameChanger, the public social partnership between Hibernian Football Club, Hibernian Community Foundation and NHS Lothian.

The Choose Life Challenge Cup welcomes teams from Lothian and beyond and players and spectators can also find out about issues and local services from a range of community stalls which will be present on the day.

Former Hibs player Ian Murray will be on hand to present the trophy to the winners.

If you would like to register a team to play in the event, call John Murphy: 0131 663 1616
