Scotland will prepare for the UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship first qualifying round with a friendly tournament in Czech Republic next month.

Pauline Hamill has named an 18-player squad to take on the hosts as well as Spain and Italy in Tachov.

The squad includes Michaela McAlonie from Hearts’ Ladies and  Elena Santoyo-Brown from Boroughmuir Thistle.

The UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship campaign kicks-off in October, when Scotland host Kazakhstan, Croatia and France  in the first qualifying round mini-tournament. Venue details will be confirmed soon.
