Emily Murray is a mother of two and a lifestyle journalist who worked with The Guardian and Stylist among other titles.
Earlier in the year she set up a blog called The Pink House which aimed to inspire mums to be more adventurous with home decoration.
The blog has become very popular and their Instagram account has more than 10,000 followers. And now they have won an award!

Emily was in London last month to get the Amara Interior Blog Award presented by TV presenter Sophie Robinson. She explained one of the reasons why she started her blog: ““I know kids make it hard to get out – and keep one’s sanity – sometimes, so The Pink House is here to help parents create gorgeous homes they enjoy spending time in, while helping them have a laugh.”
Working with large brands like M&S and Rocco Forte Hotels The Pink House offers sponsored posts, content creation along with Scottish photographer Susie Lowe and interior styling.
