Join Waverley Care for this exciting opportunity to experience a day’s singing with world renowned choral composer and conductor, Bob Chilcott.

Bob, who is a patron of Waverley Care, is once again bringing his infectious enthusiasm to Edinburgh as he runs another of his immensely popular workshop days. Bob has been described by the Observer newspaper as “a contemporary hero of British choral music”, and this is a fantastic opportunity to sing under his baton.

One of the most performed composers of choral music in the world, Bob’s extensive catalogue is published by Oxford University Press. This workshop session will give you the opportunity to learn a number of his works, and will close with an informal performance, to which you can invite friends and family for free.

This event is part of the Edinburgh Student Arts Festival, and Waverley Care is delighted to welcome the Edinburgh University Singers, conducted by John Kitchen, to perform a small number of songs by Bob during the informal performance.

Date: Saturday 11th February 2017
Time: Rehearsal 10am – 4.15pm, including an informal performance at 3.15pm to which all are welcome
Venue: St Cuthbert’s Church, Lothian Road, Edinburgh, EH1 2EP
