At the Edinburgh Tourism Action Group Conference 2017, held recently at Edinburgh Zoo, the council commissioned an information video featuring some of the main players the city’s tourism industry.

They were asked about their vision for the city in 33 years time, in 2050.

Robin Worship of Rabbie’s said :  “I always believe in having visions which are hugely aspirational. I want a place which is really enjoyable to live, the quality of life is excellent, where there is no conflict and there’s a centre of enlightenment and understanding between different cultures and people. I think that’s a wonderful thing to aim for.”

Campbell Dallas of the EICC said : “For me its about embracing Edinburgh as it is currently. Its a city that is truly proud of what it is, and a city that really acts like the capital city of Scotland.”
