Susan Tomes is an Edinburgh based pianist and writer who will be appearing at The Queen’s Hall this week.

There are still tickets available for the recital on 9 February at 7.30pm which is preceded by a talk with Robert Philip at 6.30.

The recital will include Preludes by Debussy, a little Schubert in the middle and will then finish with Beethoven’s Sonata in E Major, Op 109.

Susan is an acclaimed pianist who received the Cobbett Medal in 2013 for her distinguished services to chamber music.

The Edinburgh Reporter spoke to her about the upcoming concert.
