If you’re looking for some way to celebrate and support Red Nose Day then you may wonder how to support the charitable efforts by Comic Relief.

One way is to head for TK Maxx or Homesense where you will find exclusive aprons designed by celebrity photographer Rankin.

In association with Homesense TK Maxx have commissioned the aprons using quirky animal portraits.

The campaign is being fronted by the Hairy Bikers, Si King and Dave Myers. The bikers will be supported by a whole host of celebrities including Nadiya Hussain, Una Healy, The Hemsley Sisters, Ella Mills, Nadine Coyle, Lesley Joseph, Linda Robson, Fay Ripley, Vogue Williams, Susanna Reid, Kimberly Wyatt and Tim Lovejoy, to name but a few.

  • Red Nose Day is back today Friday 24th March 2017 and it’s all about your power to make the world a better place, simply by having a great time.
  • By raising (or donating) cash this Red Nose Day, you’re helping to change lives. That’s because Comic Relief spends the money raised to help the people who really need it most, both here in the UK and across Africa.
  • From workplace bake sales and fancy-dress fundraising in schools, to danceathons, quizzes and surreal sponsored challenges, put on a Red Nose and make your laugh matter by doing whatever you enjoy to raise life-changing cash.
  • It all culminates in a massive night of comedy and entertainment, live on the BBC.

The adult apron, priced at £12.99 are available to buy in HomeSense stores too. With at least £5 from every adult apron sale going to Comic Relief, the money will help people living incredibly tough lives in the UK and across Africa.

Rankin said: “When I was asked to create this year’s Red Nose Day exclusive collection for HomeSense I agreed without hesitation. It is a fantastic cause and I knew it would be a lot of fun. What you’re seeing is some of the best talent in the animal business and, although I’m never one for nepotism, my own dog got on the team sheet. I wanted to make these images as cute and fun as possible and I hope I have included something for everyone which encourages both adults and children to get in the kitchen and raise some dough for Comic Relief.”

The apron and some related items are available to buy from Red Nose Day official partners HomeSense and TK Maxx stores throughout the UK now.
