Norwegian multi-award-winning actress and singer Hilde Louise Asbjornsen is proud to present the Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut of her alter ego, Lulu.

A witty, sexy cabaret on shoes, finance and other perversities. Accompanied by her swinging jazz trio, she undresses the pleasure of spending money we don’t have and how the bank becomes your pimp, revealing the secret suicide pact of the financial industry. The ultimate guilty pleasures we don’t want to talk about. Coming from one of the richest countries in the world, Lulu gives a masterclass on how to go bankrupt with style.

Jazz singer, songwriter, author and actress Hilde Louise has released 10 solo albums and toured Norway, Scandinavia and Germany with her own band in several times since 2002. On the side she has an awarded career as a stage actress and cabaret artist. Her one-woman show – The Lulu Show – premiered in November 2015 to stunning reviews and immediately became a box office hit.

Hilde Louise has starred as Emcee in Cabaret (2017), Roxie Heart in Chicago (2015) and Ms. Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (2014), all at Oslo Nye Teater. She has also toured USA, Asia and Europe as the lead singer of Swedish jazz-electronica duo Koop.
