Room 29 theatre invites you to a wedding day you’ll never forget.

With a blushing bride, a nervous groom and their overbearing mothers, It Shoulda Been You is a wild musical comedy where anything that can go wrong, does! Expect plenty of crazy twists and turns, uninvited guests and love popping up in mysterious places.

Originally produced on Broadway in 2015 starring Tyne Daley and Harriet Harris, It Shoulda Been You is making its Edinburgh Fringe debut as one of the first productions outwith the United States of America.

Neil Lavin, Director of the five star European Premiere of Heathers: The Musical (Dundee Opsoc, 2016), is collaborating for the first time with Musical Director Steven Segaud, (credits including EUSOG’s 2015 Edinburgh Fringe production, Little Shop of Horrors) and Choreographer Nel Springrose (G&T Productions).

Joined by an ensemble cast of talented singers and actors from all over Scotland, this production will enjoy a limited run at theSpace: Venue 45.

It Shoulda Been You is a perfect show to see this Fringe – along side a story that will keep audiences laughing long after the curtain closes, the show also has a huge amount of heart, taking a look at family, the choices we make, and most of all, the way we love.
