Richard Lawson still believes injury-hit Glasgow Tigers can win the SGB Championship.

Tigers have lost Nike Lunna, Tom Perry and Dan Bewley, with the first two unlikely to return this season.

Reserve Jack Smith had to withdraw from a meeting for SGB Premiership side Belle Vue Aces on Thursday with a finger injury.

Glasgow host Redcar Bears on Saturday (7pm) and Peterborough Panthers on Sunday (3pm).

Heatleader Lawson said: “Things just haven’t come together the way we would like recently.

“With the potential we’ve got we can go into the play-offs and win some trophies. I do believe we can do it.”

Elsewhere, Edinburgh Monarchs visit Workington Comets (7pm) and Berwick Bandits host league pace-setters Sheffield Tigers (7pm).
