Glasgow Tigers will have to wait until Friday (7.30pm) to claim a place in the final of the Knockout Cup.

Thursday’s scheduled re-staging was ruled out because of the waterlogged track.

Tigers are ten points adrift of Peterborough Panthers after the semi-final, first-leg in England in their bid to hold onto the trophy.

Richard Lawson admits that Tigers have suffered a dip but the 30-year-old racer believes the club can retain the SGB Championship Knockout Cup.

It’s the last chance for ambitious Tigers to earn silverware this season and Lawson is conscious that the club have not delivered a trophy for their loyal fans.
