Looking for something to do today? At The Corn Exchange they have art for everyone from 11.00am till 5.00pm.

Sadly you have missed your chance to buy the portrait of crime author Ian Rankin but there are paintings and sculptures to fit all pockets.

One of the things on display which is not for sale is the Scottish Diaspora Tapestry which you can see and learn about with talks by Andrew Crummy who designed it.

Craig Waddell is a recent Edinburgh Art College graduate who is displaying his photographic work. He was a finalistĀ  at the Scottish Portrait Awards and is just about to show at the Royal Scottish Academy as one of the RSA’s New Contemporaries. He is an engaging personality and will be speaking about his art and photography.

Edinburgh Art Fair is sponsored by BTO Solicitors who were kind enough to invite us along on Thursday evening to the preview. We were taken by bus from their offices at Edinburgh Quay just under the STV studio to the Corn Exchange. Thank you to BTO for their hospitality!

Edinburgh Corn Exchange is well suited to this kind of event with coffee and snacks available at Bert’s Bar and within the exhibition hall where there is also a bar.

If you take your under 12s with you but they need a break then there is a creche run by East Lothian Special Needs Playscheme who will keep them entertained. ELSNP is the chosen charity supported by EAF.
