Over the next seven days, Scotland Under-19s will aim to negotiate the Under 19 UEFA Qualifying Round in Luxembourg and reach the Elite Round stage.

Scotland go into the matches off the back of a warm-up double header against France and will play the hosts, Albania and Czech Republic.

Included in the squad is Hibernian’s Ryan Porteous and Fraser Murray and Hearts’ Daniel Baur.

Ahead of the matches Donald Park said: “The guys have been great and played some challenging games in the lead up to this qualifying round which is all part of the learning process.

“We’ll find out over the course of the next week or so whether it has been worthwhile though as we’re into the nitty gritty now where they need to win games.

“We took a lot of positives in the games against France as we created a lot of chances.

“Ryan Porteous was involved for Hibernian at the weekend and that’ll stand him in great stead. The more they are challenged early on their career, the better they’ll become.

Playing regularly at a first team level is the best part of anyone’s education. They improve immensely when they get the chance and you can see they are developing because of that.”
