McDonalds’ teams at the Newbridge and Corstorphine have worked together to donate money and food for the Edinburgh Food Project.

It distributes to food banks across the central Edinburgh area.

The crew placed festive wrapped boxes into the restaurant for anyone who wanted to be involved to add their donations of food to.

As well as this, the teams raised £250 for the food bank through fundraising events.

Laura Doherty, People Manager, who has helped to organise the fundraising said: “We are really happy to have donated 787.9kg of food and £250 to the Edinburgh Food Project.

“We were thrilled to hear this is the biggest donation they received in December and are keen to work with the project in the New Year.”
