Annual turnover at independent IT recruitment specialists Cathcart Associates has reached £6.5 million in the last 12 months for the whole group. £5.25m has come from its core recruitment business, £1m from its renewable energy division and a further £250,000 from its operation in Thailand. The firm has been steadily growing year on year since the business was established in 2009.
It is not just turnover that has been increasing; the group has hired 10 new consultants over the last year as the business expands further in Manchester and the north of England. Manchester has been a key focus area for the business over the last year as the city has witnessed an increase in demand for tech specialists.
Overseas, Cathcart Energy, which focuses on finding talent for the renewable energy industry, opened an office in Sweden and is set to expand to further locations in 2018.
The recruitment firm has added to its client portfolio, growing from 90 companies last year to 119 this year.
