Press conference held at the 'Rest and be Thankful' in Argyll to appeal for information relating to Suzanne's disappearance.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have information regarding the movements of a silver-coloured family car around unclassified roads (which could include single or forestry tracks) around the central area of the Argyll Forest, including the Rest and Be Thankful.

Specifically, they want to hear from anyone who may have seen a silver-coloured car sometime between 1pm – 3.30pm, and then in the evening between 7pm – 9pm.

Detective Chief Inspector Gary Flannigan, who is leading the investigation, said:

“Did you see a lone driver in a silver-coloured car, or near to one, who may have been stopped for some time in such a place?

“Please think back, it’s the day before the General Election – can you recall seeing a similar vehicle?

“If there’s any possibility it is critical you contact Lothian and Borders Police as a matter of urgency.”

Suzanne Pilley was last seen outside her office in Edinburgh city centre on Tuesday 4th May, 2010.
