Top eggs up for grabs include a Pirates of the Caribbean creation from the movie’s star, Johnny Depp; Lorraine Kelly’s penguin egg, styled on her favourite creature – the Dundee Discovery Penguin; and a super sparkly Dancing on Ice design, inspired by the show’s infamous costumes and signed by presenters Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield.

The collection is on display at Edinburgh’s luxury shopping boulevard, Multrees Walk, where it will remain over the Easter weekend until Tuesday 06 April.

Johnny Depp fans however, will have to wait just that extra bit longer to get a look at the sought after masterpiece. Arriving fashionably late, the Johnny Depp egg is currently on its way from his home in Paris and is due to make its debut appearance later this week at The Pen Shop.

Commenting on the Eggstravaganza fundraiser, Helen Forrest from Royal Blind said:

“This initiative has been one of the most exciting and eventful that we’ve ever worked on, and we can’t thank everyone enough for their support.

“The effort and personal detail that has gone into each egg is phenomenal. Lorraine Kelly’s piece is inspired by her fascination with the Dundee Discovery penguins from her home town, whilst Mark Heyes from GMTV has dubbed his chic creation the LBE – Little Black Egg – based on his favourite fashion item, the Little Black Dress. Jenni Falconer’s egg, modelled in her own image, even paid a visit to a top stylist at Vidal Sassoon to get its hair just right!”

Hosted via eBay, the online auction opens to bids on Wednesday 31 March and closes Friday 09 April.
