CG_TOUR3_KICKING-1Following a sell-out, record breaking run in Edinburgh last year Calendar Girls has triumphed in the West End and possibly in the whole of the UK. Now it’s back in Edinburgh for two weeks only and it is already proving to be the hottest ticket in town.

For the Scottish leg of this latest UK tour our very own Elaine C Smith will be playing Miss October, the role originally played in the film by Helen Mirren. Elaine will be joined by a an amazing new cast of the finest women including; Denise Black (Coronation Street, Queer as Folk), Jean Boht (Bread), Jennifer Ellison (Brookside), Julia Hills (2 Point 4 Children), Rachel Lumberg (Little Voice – West End) and Ruth Madoc (Hi-de-HI) and Mikyla Dodd (Hollyoaks), alongside Joe MacGann (The Upper Hand) and Bruno Langley (Coronation Street, Doctor Who).

Calendar Girls: A group of ordinary women do something extraordinary and spark a global phenomenon when they persuade one another to pose for a charity calendar with a difference! Based on an inspiring true story, Calendar Girls is quirky, poignant and hilarious.
