The great weather brings out the best of Edinburgh and all just at the right time when the Book Festival is getting underway in Charlotte Square.Read our article about the crowds who visited the festival at the weekend.

The Reporter went to The Tattoo on Saturday and it was one of the slickest events we have ever seen. The Imps motorcyle riders are amazing. The youngest at only five was a real wee daredevil. If you can beg steal or borrow a ticket then do! The sight of a Tornado coming over the Castle Esplanade is one thing – but when you are in the slipstream and they turn on the afterburners it is quite another sight and sound! We are still recovering from the shock of it. Our Tattoo photos will go up on Flickr later.

Greener Leith report the campaign growing in Lochend to get justice for Simon San who was murdered last week. Meanwhile four teenagers are due in court today in connection with the death of the delivery driver.

Robert Melvin has been charged with the murder of Martin Hughes who was killed last week in Wester Hailes.

Police have been searching in Argyll over the weekend for Suzanne Pilley but the search has ended without success. STV News has more.

And the plans to turn premises in York Place into a kind of hostel have been abandoned according to The Broughton Spurtle.
