On Sunday record crowds enjoyed the RNLI Queensferry Lifeboat Station’s Open and Family Fun Day with the most impressive event of the afternoon being the dramatic rescue exercise with the RNLI Queensferry Lifeboat and the Navy 177 Search and Rescue helicopter from HMS Gannet. With a Strongman display, Army cadets Pipe Band, The Caledonian Kickers line dancers, a rescue demonstration with Newfoundland Dogs,Scottish Coastal Rowing Queensferry Regatta and all the food and fun stalls and fun fair and dry weather, it was a great day out for all the family.
