Richard Holloway, former Bishop of Edinburgh and widely respected thinker, writer and broadcaster launched his long-awaited memoir “Leaving Alexandria” in a Canongate Books public event in Edinburgh this weekend hosted by BBC Radio 4’s ‘Today’ programme interviewer and fellow Scot James Naughtie.
An hour-long reading, talk and question and answer session with Jim Naughtie attracted a 160-strong audience packed into the Royal Physicians Hall, Edinburgh on Saturday.
