Neil Gore and Fine Time Fontayne star in this two handed production of the classic book by Robert Tressell.  The Stephen Lowe play is Directed by Louise Townsend.
The Reporter was delighted to attend a kind of preview of the play at Holyrood last night which was coupled with political rhetoric and discussion. This production is being supported in part by Unite who hosted the reception at the Scottish Parliament last night with beer and sandwiches! The book is said to have themes which are reflected in today’s society, even though it was written in 1910.
We have a flavour of some of what you will experience in our audio below. The play aims to explain what is meant by capitalism in the Great Money Trick. (Some of this is however visual so you will have to go and see for yourselves!) Fine Time is heard explaining the way it will work…

These two highly experienced actors are in the middle of a tour which will end in Wiltshire at the end of October.
