Flabbergast Theatre /Escalator East to Edinburgh present: Boris & Sergey II: Perilous Escapade

Improvised crossover cabaret featuring tabletop puppetry and character comedy for discerningly twisted adult audiences.

War Horse, Blind Summit and Handspring puppeteer Henry Maynard presents his follow up to EdFringe 2012 sold out, five star smash hit ‘Boris & Sergey’s Vaudevillian Adventure’

Puppetry’s Balkan bad-boys Boris & Sergey – simply the greatest vaudevillian double act ever conceived for the small stage, are back in the sequel to end all sequels! Following their ‘Vaudevillian Adventure’ the brothers embark on a quest to right the wrongs perpetrated on them and reclaim their souls for good!

Become enthralled as these two tatterdemalion rogues recount their trials and tribulations in the underworld. Marvel at their daring and gasp as they enumerate, burlesque and improvise their way through this epic tale of companionship and separation. Weep as they struggle with their inner daemons and celebrate as they overcome adversity. One hour continuous flow of amusement with a dark and twisted heart. Once again expect riotous exploits, malarkey, molestation and mirth of a magnitude hitherto unseen in the neck of any woods anywhere.

An altogether more ambitious outing than their last show, Perilous Escapade has already elicited attention from The National Theatre Studio, Suspense Festival, House, The Southbank Festival, Latitude Festival and the Soho Theatre amongst others.

Boris and Sergey II: Perilous Escapade has been selected for Escalator East To Edinburgh. Each year Escalator, East to Edinburgh helps artists and arts organisations to raise their profile and perform to new audiences as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
