Four men have been arrested and charged with alleged bogus workmen offences during on-going operation to tackle doorstep crime in Edinburgh.

As part of Operation Aristotle, detectives had been investigating a number of bogus workmen incidents across the Capital, which took place between 2009 and 2013.

In total, ten victims were defrauded of almost Ā£400,000 during this time period.

The men aged 54, 26, 24 and 19 are scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
