Diners are getting the chance to get into the ‘spirit’ of a traditional Mexican Day of the Dead celebration at Edinburgh’s Nachos Fiesta restaurant.

The themed bar and restaurant in Fountain Park is planning a series of promotions to mark the Day of the Dead on November 1st, the date celebrated in particular by South American cultures to remember loved ones who have passed away.

Over this coming weekend, diners in full fancy dress will get a complimentary dessert with their meal and families dining with young children will receive free kids meals.

Jagoda Beilak, General Manager at Nachos Fiesta, said: “Day of the Dead is a big celebration in our annual calendar.

“Throughout the year, customers get a flavour of Mexico through our food and decor, but during this special occasion, we can also offer them an insight into important traditions and cultural values.

“The team is really excited about this coming weekend as it’s a chance to celebrate with our customers who are always willing to try new things with enthusiasm. We’re looking forward to lively Day of the Dead celebrations complete with traditional decorations, as well as house specials and exclusive offers on food and drinks.”

Nachos Fiesta, at Fountain Park, offers up some of Edinburgh’s top Mexican food and drink with specialities which include spicy fajitas, loaded nachos and stuffed burritos, perfect for all the family.

Serving food from 11am seven days a week, the licensed bar is open from 10am till late.
