It seems that the Edinburgh Sketcher (he is the afficionado with a sketchbook and pens of course!) may not have quite the same view as we do!

Morningside Library has had work carried out in recent times to get rid of the rot that was found there. Now it is proposed to carry out fire upgrade works as part of phased council Upgrade programme. These are described as minor works and under the council’s Fast Track procedure the works have already been approved and will no doubt be carried out soon.

At the Cameo tonight there is a film about Nick Cave called 20,000 Days on Earth. You need to have someone over 15 to go with you to enjoy what is billed as ‘a bold look at one of music’s most mysterious and charismatic figures’.
