Wondering what to do with those children in between Christmas and New Year?

We have an answer for you here. Dynamic Earth is running Penguin Days between 27-30 December to give you the chance to explore Antarctica where the penguins live.

You can begin your journey by freezing in the frozen-extremes gallery before meeting some fluffy friends and finding out how they survive the low temperatures of home.

Eilidh Massie, marketing manager at Dynamic Earth comments: “We are so excited to be running these activities between Christmas and New Year. Penguins are without a doubt one of the best-loved animals, and are fascinating creatures that face some real challenges with remarkable resilience.

“Penguin day is the perfect way to beat those post-Christmas blues while allowing children the chance to get hands-on and find out more about our favourite polar birds.”

Penguin Day activities resume after New Year from 6 until 8 January. Activities are included in a ticket to Dynamic Earth. Activities will run between 10am & 4pm daily.
