Two types of cheese have been withdrawn from sale following tests which detected Listeria monocytogenes.

The two cheeses, Crannog and Killywhan, are produced by Loch Arthur Creamery based in Dumfries. The creamery and café are recalling all affected products. The business has also sent a point of sale notice to all businesses that sell the two products.

Consumers are advised not to eat the cheese and to return them to the place they bought them for a full refund.

The products being recalled are:
  • Loch Arthur Creamery Crannog Cheese
  • Loch Arthur Creamery Killywhan Cheese
